The ‘Great America’ that President Trump has been promising the public looks too often more like Al Capone’s gangster-ridden Chicago of the 1920’s – except even more violent.
At least a senior member of Trump’s government has come out and spoken the truth: Joe Kent, the former US counter-terrorism official just resigned over the US-Israeli war against Iran. Kent, a true American hero and war veteran, asserted he could not “in good conscience support the ongoing war” against Iran. He stated that Iran posed “no imminent threat to our nation” and that the conflict was initiated “due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.” What heresy!
The move comes weeks into active strikes targeting Iranian nuclear sites, leadership, and infrastructure, with Iranian retaliation underway and global oil markets feeling the strain. So far, US and Israeli strikes, guided by America’s galaxy of formidable intelligence satellites that blanket the Mideast, have truly managed to decapitate Iran’s technical, military and political leadership.
These attacks were clearly timed for the holy Muslim month of Ramadan when Muslim families gather together. That is why so many senior Iranian officials were killed.
The US was following Israel’s well proven tactic of assassinating enemy leaders. These were not the days of Waterloo when the Duke of Wellington, told Napoleon’s staff were reportedly in range of his guns, reportedly sniffed ‘gentlemen do not fire on other gentlemen.’
Not so in the Mideast where Israel follows Stalin’s famed, dictum ‘no man, no problem.’ Israel has relentlessly killed much of the Palestinian leadership, from Yasser Arafat down, often leaving only marginal figures in charge. Now it’s Iran’s turn for what Israel’s military calls ‘mowing the lawn.’
US amphibious units are nearing the Gulf intending a land campaign that would prove bloody and difficult for them. The US commands the skies and seas, but Iran’s infantry and special forces were toughened in the crucible of the murderous Iraq-Iran War from 1980 to 1988 in which close to one million Iraqis may have died. The Romans had a hard time fighting the Iranian Parthians – so may the Americans. I saw the Iranians at war.
The big question, as the courageous Joe Kent asked, is why did Trump allow the US to be dragged into this at least one billion dollar a day war unrelated to US interests? To Kent, and this veteran war correspondent, the answer is obvious: Israel is a past master at influencing US politics and finances, particularly close to elections. Israel always waits until US elections draw nigh to make very bold moves.
Israel’s leadership, including far right extremist parties, must have used material from their key master-agent Jeff Epstein to put the squeeze on Trump. Something similar happened to President Bill Clinton during his term, though of much less serious nature.
Any wonder Epstein was bumped off in the classic gangster style? Dead men tell no tales, as the pirates used to say. The US has reportedly given Israel some $300 billion since its birth in 1948, more than any other nation. People would kill to protect this kind of money.

I happen to think that Vladimir Putin knows exactly what is in the Epstein files and all of the dirt that he (Epstein) collected on Donald Trump, among many others. It has been noted that Epstein had multiple visas to visit Russia and did so many times. Do you think he went there just to go sightseeing? I have a feeling that Trump and many others stepped into Epstein’s “honey trap” in Manhattan and that the Russians know that. But, I have also heard – and Margolis strongly suggests in the above column – that the Israelis (through the Mossad) also have similar or maybe the same information from the Epstein files. In that case, Trump is caught in a vice-grip of his own making and no matter what he decides to do, he will be destroyed.
Iranians have moral values. They are very intelligent in the way they speak and rationale their arguments with facts and common sense. Very opposite to the way US leaders and Zionist Israel speak. Iranian leaders speak with moral clarity, eloquence, and intelligence. Whereas US and Zionists speak like a thug, a bully, and language of domination and supremacy. The decent people of the world can see their evil plan.
Obviously the Iranians have prepared for this attack. They aught to have known it was coming no matter how they tried to appease the US. Iran’s fate was sealed when they broke away from US dictatorship in 1979. Trump is clearly controlled by Bibi and his Zionist zealots running Israel. Sadly Israelis, Jewish diaspora and Iranian diaspora in the west are fully brainwashed to believe what the USs reasons for the attack on Iran. This war won’t end until Israel says it does, no matter what Trump or the US says. This is Israel’s war. As Bibi sais he’s waited 40 years for this day. Iran stands alone. Russia and China have helped Iran prepare for this war and that’s it. With the strait closed and oil facilities wrecked, Russia is a position to demonstrate to the world it’s important position since it can now provide Europe and other Asian countries with “sanctioned ” Russian oil. A lovely irony. Russia and China also watch as the US and Israel bit off more than it can chew easily. Whatever and however the war will end, the US vassals will be reluctant to send any real material help. Especially after Trump has humbled around the globe threatening and insulting all the countries except Israel. How will Trump pull off a victory in the mid terms in November i wonder. November is a long way away. Dont be suprised if he does. Trump is the best flim flam man to come along in ages. He may once again be able to brainwash the American voters. As we’ve seen, this is easy to do.
The nature of the Epstein presence is still not settled in terms of open evidence, yet. It’s not clear whether he was a “master agent” of Israel or just a freelance blackmailer. Or for that matter, there still is no open proof that he was a victim of a hit, but you can wonder.
The Iranian regime is certainly not admirable, and it be a fine day for Iran when they leave office. But I honestly can’t see what good this war of Trump’s will achieve. It will likely strengthen the position of the hardliners and make any reform that much more difficult.
